CAST: Another Level--Yes I

Greetings, to all my relations. I am Yes I, a cross-cultural, organic director for the C.A.S.T. team. I have recently returned from Guatemala where I began my film project--La Unificacion de Sabiduria, (The Unification of Wisdom), a project exploring the truths of the Mayan cosmology and the insights and practical wisdom that this ancient Mayan spiritual tradition has to offer the modern-day world. What was uncovered in my work was a visionary's dream come true.

My goal is to capture truths, one story at a time.

C.A.S.T. work in Guatemala

Yes-I has returned from GuateMaya (the home of the people of the corn), where his path appeared to him in a vision--to help to spread the Mayan message of unity consciousness in this time of global transition. He has spent 3 months involved in a Mayan spiritual community on Lago Atitlan, Guatemala studying with Mayan spiritual guides and filming a documentary of the traditional Mayan sacred fire ceremonies of the Mayan solar new year: 9 Noj (the year of wisdom), and the observance and celebration of Wayab, the 5-day-month between the Tzolkin and the Gregorian Calander (360 days to 365 days). After being immersed in the traditional spiritual culture of a Mayan spiritual community and working with several Mayan spirtual guides on a personal level, Yes-I is now back in the San Francisco, California working on making a documentary movie called La Unificacion de Sabiduria (The Unification of Wisdom).

There is a strong movement throughout the lands of the Mayan people to spread this ancient wisdom of the ancestors amongst the non-Mayan people at this time. As Tata Pedro Cruz, the elder Mayan spiritual guide ("Tata"), through is efforts to spread the awareness of the ancient Mayas with the modern day Mayan culture, is leading an outreach of ancient Mayan cosmology and traditions with the mainstream of modern Guatemalan culture--primarily Catholic and Evangelical. As part of his life work, Tata Pedro openly shares his wisdom with foreigners and locals alike. And as such, he is open to the making of this movie documentary of the ancient Mayan wisdom in the modern day age. Tata Pedro has been named and internationally acclaimed as an Ambassador to Peace, dedicated to revitalize the awareness of the ancient wisdom and cosmo-vision of the Mayan people, he has recieved the internationally acclaimed title of Ambassador for Peace.

In the month of February, from the 17th to the 23rd, CAST took part in the filming of the sacred fire ceremonies of WAYEB, and the festivities of the new Solar Year of the Mayan Calander. In the observance of the short 5-day-month of WAYEB before the new Solar year on the Mayan calander the Mayan spiritual guides spend time in reflection, often fasting, only eating fruit and drinking water for the duration of the 5-day month as an act of purification.

CAST was there at the ceremonies to keep the fire burning for the 5 days of the ceremonies. Yes-I lead a close-knit group of workers in the care of the fire during these ceremonies, a group dedicated to keep the fire constantly burning so that the prayers and the pure intentions and were put into the fire would breathe alive in the ashes. And the spirits of the elemental forces of Mother Earth, those whom were invoked through ceremonial ritual, would remain present & sightful in the sacred fire.

The fire was hot with insight, I was honored to be its keeper.

As a result of the hard work and dedication of the Spirtual Guides at the ceremonies, CAST was able to document a wisdom tradition in a way that has never-before been seen. The Mayan elder spiritual guide--Tata Pedro Cruz, following the messages recieved in his dreams, is on a mission to spread the Mayan message, and lift high the spirit of the land from flame of the fire.

CAST is back from BALI.

Wow! So much has happened in the realms of CAST, there a many stories happening at the same time. I spent the last 3 months in Ubud,Bali, healing the body, resting the mind, understanding the way of the Balinese.

Masters at ceremony and compassion, the Balinese, with impeccable integrity, are bringing their story to the world. While there I had many adventures, I was able to work with Meghan & kedeck at Bali Spirit in Ubud. Both she and her husband are owners of Kafe and The Yoga Barn in Ubud. Brilliant examples of bringing the full story to light. A foreign tale of how we can co-exist together. East meets West, in religion, culture, customs, truths, play, entertainment and full relaxation It was a pleasure to work with both of them.

What an honor to hang with Michael. I filmed a benefit that Meghan and Michael did for Pelangi school in Ubud. We had about 300 people from all walks of the earth to share in a magical
day of Music from Michael Franti. "Wow"!! This was quite a trip for me, hear I am, just off the plane and I'm filming a benefit show staring Michael Franti, a solo artist raising money, awareness and the vibe for a beautiful cause. I was stoked!! Michael Franti is a true hero of mine. Who speaks, sings, acts and raps his truth through his life. I made a 6 min video called Michael Franti in Bali. As soon as I get my copy of this video all share it with ya....

Robin and I had discussed a Learning in-utero program that I've developed. called C.L.R.E "Cognitive Lucid Reality Education". Robin is a true hero of mine. I look forward to working with her in the future.

2008 will be a big year for CAST.


Cast will be at Harmony Festival 6th through the 8th of June, Our crew will be in the Eco village doing workshops and filming people speaking their truth on camera. CAST will be roaming all over the Festival interviewing anybody and everybody and inquiring about their truth. For the last 2 years we've been making a Documentary about multi-cultural truths. Harmony Festival is a great place to film many colors of the rainbow. Keep your eyes open for someone with a CAST T-shirt and a video camera. Ask them, what's your truth?

CAST will be at the Raw Spirit Fest 2008, Sept. 12 through the 14th, the largest raw vegan, eco-peace celebration in creation! We re-unite at this rawmarkable resort, located amidst trees and ponds on luscious lawns beneath Sedona, Arizona's famous Red Rock Mountains.

CAST will be at The Good Fesitval, FairFax CA sometime in Aug. If you know anything about
FairFax then you have an idea of amazing this Festival is. All I can say is, "Good everything".

This is Galactic Jack, he came to the first CAST meeting, which was last Nov, of 2006. Galactic Jack heard about the event 20,000,000,000 million light years away, he said he used Eco-space friendly veggie fuel for the trip.

Jack remarked, that he jammed out to Singing Bear and Aumnibus (click to go to their website) the whole trip, "good vibes"he said.

Jack, decided to break it down for the group on that enchanting CAST day, we caught it on tape and are sharing it with you now one year later.

The human race becomes linguist of their

speak our truth. Today is a day for
clarity & reflection. I have noticed on
this planet that you waste a lot of time and
energy doing things, that…… well…….
don't honor your planet or your
community, or even yourself or your
children, that you lie and manipulate
each other in the name of this illusionary
energy source called “MONEY”!

There is shadow on this planet, but there is
also is divine light!!! I feel that light
& truth have very similar qualities.

You can not see light anymore than
you can see truth, but you can see its
reflection, its intention, you can observe
its true nature. Today is a day of
reflection, today we anchor the dream of
our truth, in song, In dance, in paint, in
voice. Today, find your authentic self and
rejoice in it.

Today we as a community are letting go
of the old story and embracing the new
story. You see……because…. the old
story no longer speaks to us. Your
writing the new story, right now, today.
This new story reveals and identifies the language

that we're using to create compassionate solutions,

this story, is a grass roots story of reasoning re-genesis,

A heroic adventure
distinguished by the intrinsic worth of
our collective dreaming mind.
In spirit the CAST becomes the psycho-social
immune system in the heart of world
that needs healing & wholing.
CAST as a Moviement, becomes an
ongoing feedback loop, created by the
people, for the people.

Today we the universal / galactic actors of CAST hold space for the

vision of your truths.

A New Frontier, C.A.S.T.

I have seen no truth, just experience, I have seen no hate, just the damage done. We are new every moment, pure intention, both map, and map-makers. This materialistic view of the world has made men and women treat other men and women like matter instead of worth. This is called "Performative Contradiction" On the contrary, OH powerful alchemist!, we are the seeds and the emerald forest. I have seen your limbs in the roughest storm, I have read stories of your darkest fright and how you we're up-rooted and thrown about. Lost your identity, and way home, and felt deep down their was not one soul in this vast place to hold your hand.

My friends, We are evolving through brilliant treasures of a collective humanity, a Divine intervention of flexible green-ideas. A truth defined by our actions, a responsible response to a needing / feeling planet. Mission statement. "Let our truths discover and embrace our humanity, and compassion". The last chant before the birth of a whale, the sorrow that found no home, only a far off planet ready to change its story. The warrior is ready to find new ways to exists. This is just "one" story of CAST. An imaginative way to discover many different truths. The mythological adventure of hero's who finds all the other hero's and writes a epic novel of integration. Traveling deeper than ever before, awaking wisdom, reflecting diversity, and finding new ways to gather. I'm a steward of this character. A poetic reflection of a man in search of a living library full of unread books on human potential. The mirror becomes the witnessing mind, the soul a window into other perspectives, the sail, the facts that carries our true nature. The boat, the wind that carries our deepest needs.

Joseph Jacques, Alpha Lo and a band of young visionaries have been creating gatherings all over the nation that allow people a safe and creative space to express their truths, stories, and music. They have been filming these events in order to give voice to an emerging paradigm of sustainability, holistic health, consciousness and spirituality, community living, new science, and visionary art. By showing this film they hope to facilitate this emerging paradigm. They will then continue to film the next stage of the flowering. The movie then becomes part of the unfolding process. Dear Joseph Jacques, producer of C.A.S.T.


Amy and I very much appreciate your present direction.
Wherever we go, whether we are alone on the Oregon Coast dreaming, running and doing research by ourselves, with a small class or with hundreds of people in the US or another country working in a large forum dealing with world conflicts--- we seek the truth.
For us, that word is something very special, and almost sacred. By truth we mean “deep democracy”, an encompassing feeling skill that embraces people and dreams. This term means approximately for us that each person must speak about who she is. By truth, we mean that each of us helps the other to notice and appreciate all kinds of signals. We know about, some of the messages we intend to send. But some of our messages and signals go without our awareness. We encourage one another to notice all signals and stand for them.

For example, the truth may be that one part of us is smiling, while a deep seriousness may be in the background. Both of these signals together, create the truth. And then, even if all voices, signals, and dreamlike messages have been expressed, there is something, we call the Dreaming, or with the Aboriginal Australians, the “Dreamtime”, which can not always be spoken about in words. The whole truth also needs the dreaming earth, the subtle feelings we have of being moved, our dreamlike sense of space, the songs that arise from the atmosphere.

All together, all levels, the so called consensually real level where we speak to one another about what is on our hearts and minds, the dreamland level, where we bring up hidden feelings, ideas and images, and the essence level, where we try to give form, sound and motion in art and music to the inexpressible aspects of reality belong to the truth. All these things and more, depending upon a given person’s and group’s culture, history, and orientation, create that magical truth!

So when we hear about folks like you trying to tell, dance, and sing the truth, we celebrate, we heartily welcome, we dance like kids, and move like elders.

What is C.A.S.T ?

(Calling All Societal Truths)

Cast is an ongoing film production that holds space for the voices of truth in the 21st century. Its purposes, commitment, trust and outward expression is moving art within a self/culture/nature/spirit reflection. CAST is an organic, self organizing, social theater production, that asks the question (how do we define our character in the movie of our lives).

Our CAST purpose is to amplify the efforts and truths of our past, present, and future wisdoms, while listening for consensus, outward expression, storying, wounds and mutual understanding, building bridges of trust and sincerity is our commitment.

C.A.S.T is a Movie production, that discovers hidden facts and heart-felt stories. The character in this mythology is “you”! What role are you playing in life? Are you using your full potential in this story? Where is your passion? What things do you like to create? What are your values? CAST humbly retreats into nature, and gets a reply. You are a seed, you hold a truth! (answers that sow seeds for more questions to bear fruit) C.A.S.T creates a local, national as well as a world forum space for important questions to be answered.

Joseph is working with such profound individuals like, James O'Dea (The President of Noetic Sciences), Jean Houston (Social Artist), Arnold Mindell (The DEEP Democracy of Open Forums)
Hazel Henderson (Ethical Market Place). Chris Conrad (Hemp life line to the future) These Wisdom Architects, are playing major roles in the world and hold space for us to engage fully, in our rational dreaming minds & spirits.



Purpose ☼ Commitment ☼ Trust

In each of these topics, truth needs to find its purpose and stature. C.A.S.T supports this process by building heart-bridges to art, healthcare, social healing, spirituality, music, energy, behavior, food, science, dreaming, humans, animals, plants, earth, and environment. We need to speak truthfully about all of these issues, each one is vital to our value system, spirit and core nature.

There is a truth that rings out in each of these subjects that can not be ignored. It is up to us to define our values concerning each subject and the direct truth of how each of these subjects can be defined in our culture. This is one of our central goals of C.A.S.T

Joseph Jacques ( Producer) is currently off to Maui to engage with potential investors for the production. He will all so be facilitating C.A.S.T workshops, and group awareness around the principles of C.A.S.T. while on the island.

"The idea is to spread the word, while actively exploring all fund raising possibilities. I want our smart-tribe to know that their funded, and to feel welcome to play a role in this movie making process".
